What is PM Matru Vandana Yojana:- Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY) is a government scheme that provides financial assistance to pregnant women for their health and well-being during pregnancy and delivery. - First Installment:- Under this scheme, you will also be given the first installment of ₹ 1,000 on registration of pregnancy.
- Second Installment:- The second installment of ₹2,000 will be given after completing at least one antenatal checkup within six months of pregnancy.
- 3rd Installment:- The remaining installment of ₹2,000 will be given after the completion of your child’s birth registration and their first vaccination (BCG, OPV, DPT and Hepatitis-B).
- These benefits will be deposited directly into the checking account of the beneficiary through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
PM Matru Vandana Yojana Eligibility
To avail the benefits of PM Matru Vandana Yojana, a pregnant woman will have to fulfill the following eligibility, this eligibility is as follows-
- Only the indian women of India will get its benefit.
- The age of the woman should not be less than 19 years
- Women should register for the scheme only during preg
- Who is in ordinary employment with the Central or State Government or any public.
- The woman should not get comparable benefits under any other scheme.
- Note: This scheme provides benefits only for the first child and not for subsequent children.
